The campaign, scheduled for Monday, Feb.20 through Thursday, Feb. 23, will include academic services as well as civil liberties, said ASI Chief Justice Dina Alhayek. “This campaign is designed to encompass a variety of student needs, and answer their questions in a more thorough manner,” Alhayek said. “Instead of having students search for answers and information, we are bringing the resources to them.” On hand to speak with will be attorneys and administrators from Enrollment Services, Financial Aid, and Counseling and Psychological Services. At the workshops, students who don’t know how to appeal a gradeor are facing academic probation or plagiarism charges will find that there are resources available to them to help with guidance and understanding. Also available will be advice on registration, classes, withdrawals, repeat-delete, as well as free one-on-one legal advice from pro-bono attorneys. “We'll have something for everyone, and at the end of the week, every student who attended will have gained the necessary knowledge in order to successfully navigate their career here at CSULB,” Alhayek said.
