An Evening With Stan Lee

Long Beach, Calif. - October 27, 2015 - The Associated Students, Inc. University Student Union (USU) Program Council is proud to announce that it will be hosting its fourth "An Evening With..." series event on Monday, Nov. 16 with guest speaker, and former president and chairman of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee.

Stan Lee will be discussing his life journey, various accomplishments, and lessons learned along the way. The event will allow Lee to take questions from the audience and via social media interaction.

"As a fan of Marvel I am really excited to meet the man who created it," said William Salazar, Programs Assistant for the USU Program Council. "I hope he will discuss how he came about creating Marvel and his process leading him to create all of these superheroes and villains...this is great opportunity for the CSULB community to hear from someone iconic."

The evening's program will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. at the Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Free tickets will be available to students beginning Monday, Nov. 2 at the USU Info Desk on a first come, first serve basis. If additional tickets are available, they will be offered to faculty and staff beginning Monday, Nov. 9. A valid CSULB I.D. is required to obtain a ticket. This event is closed to the public.

The "An Evening With..." series is presented by the University Student Union Program Council and seeks to bring high caliber, educational and entertaining events to CSULB students. Previous events brought out Magic Johnson, Tavis Smiley and George Lopez.
