Kbeach Radio is a state-of-the art radio station that currently broadcasts on the internet and has around one hundred student participants. The station has been primarily a space for music appreciation and as an optional use, a means to gain practical experience in various music industry functions.

It is consistently a popular activity that attracts a great cross-section of the student population as well as Volunteers from the campus and surrounding community. You never know what our content will be when you tune in to Kbeach, but you can rely on the fact that it will be unique, cool, and student driven.

Kbeach always encourages the student voice of CSULB and protects the freedom of speech of all within the guidelines of the FCC. Many of our programs are intellectually or opinion based in conjunction with the many gifted Professors we have as well as our Award Winning Speech and Debate Team and Journalism Departments.
We are excited to be embarking on an exciting new world of multi-media, and no longer consider ourselves just a Radio Station. Rather, we are an electronic Media Outlet.We soon will be available on FM HD Radio and use all of the latest technologies to communicate with our listeners.

We have already made arrangements with the campus to share the HD signal that is currently operated by KKJZ, a campus based Jazz station.We are in the midst of a fundraising drive, and you can find out how you can help (while at the same time promoting your activities) under the services tab in our menu.

Another way in which we are paving the way for CSULB students to be ahead of the curve, is by offering a complete Pro-Tools studio for their use at reasonable rental rates. Pro Tools is the Recording and Film Industry Standard and we demonstrate how it works as we assist those who wish to make semi-professional recording of their audio projects. The recording studio is all digital, so all you need to do is bring in your instruments, pop on your headphones, and get recording. We can even broadcast this mixed performance live across the world for a fee! Currently, Kbeach has programs that range from all music to all talk and everything in between. Our News Department is always looking for important stories and features to bring to you. And as always, we'll continue to bring you up to date music from all the labels out there when our active students aren't bringing you live content from the campus and beyond.
