Sustain U is celebrating Earth Month, and it is not too late to check out the variety of programs we have in store for the remainder of April. We want to connect with our campus community by educating them on our sustainability goals while appealing to their personal interests. Our mission is to create a lasting and positive environmental impact on our campus.

1. Powering our Future - Wednesday, April 24, USU 205 2 to 3 p.m.

Join us to learn about the power of renewables including solar, wind, biomass, and hydropower. Attendees will learn about their role in creating a more sustainable future and be eligible for prizes!

2. Designing a Sustainable Graduation - Thursday, April 25, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Sustain U and the Office of Sustainability aim to inform graduates how to be environmentally responsible while celebrating achievements. Participants will have a free photoshoot and have the chance to create eco-friendly graduation decertations.

3. Plant-a-Plant - Thursday, April 25, 1 to 2 p.m.

Plant-a-plant jump starts students into gardening by learning how to transplant succulents into pots and learning about proper after-care.

4. Farmers Market - Tuesday, April 30, Friendship Walk 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Farmers Market - Tuesday, April 30, Friendship Walk 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

All these events are meant to promote a more sustainable lifestyle and easy habits our students can integrate into their weekly routines. Stay connected with Sustain U and brush up on all things' sustainability at our bi-weekly Trash Talker Tabling events.
