Beach Pride Events is proud to present the first-ever “Virtual Week of Welcome” at Long Beach State! Every semester, Week of Welcome (WoW) helps students find their preferred connection, and this year will be no different. ASI and Student Life and Development have been working hard all summer to find a virtual solution to match the level of interest WoW attracts and we are near the end of our efforts. As we prepare to host this Long Beach State tradition online, please be sure to REGISTER BELOW!

Student organizations, meeting new people, and experiencing new things is what makes college “college,” so ASI does not want you to miss out on that just because the world had different plans. 😊

Student organization, resource and department leaders, please visit the REGISTRATION portal for detailed info prior to registering for your booth.

Registrants will receive a prompt a few days before the virtual fair with more info about the app.

Go Beach!

To gain access to this event, and all Week of Welcome activities, each student, faculty and staff member must register with their CSULB email address. Use the WoW Registration Form to get the process started. We are working with Evensential to handle our virtual fair. Once the platform is live, you will receive an email to get connected!

Virtual Week of Welcome will provide students with opportunities to have live interactions with clubs, organizations, departments, and sponsored businesses around campus. We want you to use this week to connect with these groups just as you would at our normal WoW – so know that is our goal! Each organization will be able to customize their presence and you will likely be able to chat with their leaders and get to know more details before joining.

Here is a promotional example of another organization that used this same platform!

Not exactly, this event will be held online. Students will be able to participate on their mobile device, tablet, laptop or desktop computer. Though much of this will occur live, it will be virtual and not in-person. Keep checking here as we provide updates! Or simply enter your email address above and we will let you know directly.
Registration for Student Organizations and Campus Departments is now closed. If you’d like to participate in Week of Welcome you still register as a general attendee.

Week of Welcome is a vital program for students to find ways to get involved on campus -- both for returning and incoming students alike. Transitioning this large-scale, thousand-of-participants event to a virtual experience requires finding new methods and platforms to host a similar experience for all students. Beach Pride Events has been working hard to make sure our technology is accessible, as well as user-friendly for all students. We want to make sure we get it right for our first virtual WoW! Know we will provide more information in the very near future.
