As                                                        a team, they have worked                                                        on the television dramas                                                        “The Chi,” “Shooter,”                                                        “Animal Kingdom,” and                                                        “Narcos,” among other                                                        shows. They are the                                                        co-showrunners of                                                        “Bel-Air” on Peacock.                                                    </p>                                                    <p>                                                        T.J. grew up in a farm                                                        town in upstate New York                                                        and graduated from the                                                        United States Military                                                        Academy at West Point in                                                        1996. He went on to                                                        serve in an M1A1 tank                                                        battalion at Fort                                                        Carson, Colorado                                                        achieving the rank of                                                        Captain. In early 2001,                                                        T.J. left the Army to                                                        pursue his writing                                                        dreams and moved to New                                                        York City, where he                                                        worked a corporate job                                                        by day, and took writing                                                        courses by night. After                                                        building up a portfolio,                                                        T.J. moved to Los                                                        Angeles in 2004 and                                                        worked as a sales rep                                                        for a lighting company                                                        until 2008, when he and                                                        Rasheed were hired to                                                        write for the Fox TV                                                        series, “Lie to Me.”                                                        T.J. lives in Los Feliz                                                        with his wife and four                                                        children.                                                    </p>                                                    <p>                                                        Rasheed grew up in                                                        Indianapolis, Indiana,                                                        where he fell in love                                                        with reading, writing,                                                        and television because                                                        there was little else to                                                        do there. He graduated                                                        from Georgetown                                                        University and worked in                                                        D.C. for several child                                                        advocacy groups as a                                                        communications manager                                                        and speech writer. Prior to her television writing career, Okoro Carroll worked for the Federal Reserve where her responsibilities included managing the reserve position for the U.S. Banking system and analyzing the impact of monetary policy decisions on the domestic money markets. All of which she did while still writing and producing plays in New York. Earlier in his career, he was the recipient of the Binational Literary Prize for Young Novel Border of Words for his coming-of-age novel written in Spanish. A graduate of Brown University, he was born in Mexico and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of eleven.
