Lets Start the Fever....The 49er way!
What is 49er Fever?
49er fever is a brand new program this year to help promote wearing CSULB beach gear. For the first 49 days of school, Sept. 2 – Oct. 21, Prospector Pete and his posse, the ASI Street Team, will be handing out scratcher game cards to students, faculty and staff wearing CSULB gear on campus, at games and events. Every scratcher’s a winner with discounts to food vendors and the University Bookstore, but only students are eligible for the big prizes, including free tuition for the Spring 2009 semester.
What COUNTS for 49er Fever?
The following items must have CSULB, LBSU, The Beach, or ASI Logos: Hats, Beanies, T-Shirts, Sweatpants, Sweatshirts, Backpacks, Tote Bags, Lanyards, Socks, Ect.
What DOES NOT Count for 49er Fever?
Name Tags, Student IDS, Pens, Pencils, Notebooks, Binders, Stickers.
How To Win?
SCRATCHER WINNERS- Everyone is an instant winner with 49er Fever scratchers. Complete the back of your scratcher to enter into the weekly and grand prize drawings.
WEEKLY DRAWINGS- Each week all scratchers redeemed or turned into the Beach Pride Center from the week prior will be randomly selected for prizes. All winners will be contacted and posted on this webpage. All tickets not pulled for the weekly prize drawings will remain in for the grand prize drawing.
GRAND PRIZE DRAWING- The grand-prize winner will be selected on Oct. 21st, 2008 at the Beach Pride Poolside Party at the USU pool. The winner will recieve free tuition for the Spring 2009 semester. All scratcher offers are valid until 11 a.m. on Oct. 21, 2008.
A Few Terms and Conditions:
All CSULB full or part-time students are eligible to be entered into the weekly and grand prize drawings. All CSULB faculty, staff and students and ASI, Forty-Niner shops, CSULB Foundation employees are eligible for a scatcher prize(s). Students, faculty and staff who wear eligible CSULB attire and are spotted by the Street Team at an on campus location duringt those 49 days will recieve a scatcher. (Limit one scratcher per day).
