Welcome to the Beach Pride Center!

Under the direction of Eric Anderson, the Long Beach State Cheer team is made up of a competitive co-ed team that performs and cheers at all Men’s and Women’s Volleyball and Basketball home games in our pyramid. Being such a competitive hard working group, the team travels to select Big West opponent games, Big West Championship Tournaments and NCAA playoffs. Outside of the many events for our sports teams, the Cheer Team also competes at regional and national competitions. And, in 2003 and 2004 the cheer team took home the national championship for a college squad.

While the team works hard they also get great opportunities. The cheer team has done commercials and promotional appearances, worked on movies and recently just filmed for the movie Bring It On 5.
