Outdoor Adventure Trips: Joshua Tree Camp & Hike

Description

Outdoor Adventure Trips are designed to give Long Beach State students fun and unforgettable experiences at various must-see destinations in the greater Southern California area. Activities include, but are not limited to, hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, surfing and paddleboarding.

Food, equipment and transportation are provided for all trips at no additional cost. Mandatory pre-trip meetings are required for all overnight trips.

Joshua Tree Camp & Hike
Feb. 28 & 29
8 a.m. to evening (Overnight)

Register by Feb. 22 to spend the weekend hiking around Joshua trees, unique geologic features and remnants of past mining and ranching operations. Then enjoy the evening relaxing, eating a hot meal and taking in the starry desert night sky. Wake up and do it all again. Hikes are all rated as easy-moderate. Food, transportation and equipment will be provided.

Mandatory Pre-trip meeting: Feb. 25, 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Cost: Student $75 | Non-student $150
