Business and Finance Committee Grants
Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) provides a wide variety of programs and services to enhance the educational experiences of its members, the students of LBSU. ASI is committed to the development and preservation of a vibrant student community and believes firmly that students and organizations play a vital role in that effort. ASI's policies on student grants provide guidance for the allocation of funds to students and student organizations for programs, research, and professional development that benefit the student body.
The ASI Business and Finance Committee is the steward for the Student Research Fund, the Student Travel Fund, and the Student Organization Program and Travel Grants. ASI funding questions can be directed to Kim Nguyen, ASI Vice President of Finance, at Kim.Nguyen@csulb.edu.
Are you planning to conduct research? Have you been selected to present at an academic conference? If so, you may be eligible for an ASI grant!
Student Research Fund
Available to students working on a research project directly related to their field of study, at least one academic session in duration, and under the guidance of a sponsoring faculty member. Applicants will need to meet eligibility requirements as outlined in the ASI Policy on Student Research Fund.
Student Travel Fund
Available to students who have either been selected to present at a conference or who will be attending a conference directly related to their program of study. Applicants will need to meet eligibility requirements as outlined in the ASI Policy on Student Travel Fund.
Student Organization Grants
Available to student organizations registered through the Office of Student Life and Development. Applicants will need to meet eligibility requirements as outlined in the ASI Policy on Student Organization Grants.
