Fall break is over, which means that finals is just around the corner! Amidst all the stress and pressure that students may face in the next few weeks, make sure to take advantage of ASI’s stress-relieving activities during our Finals Week series.
ASI is proud to present a night filled with activism, entrepreneurship and inspiration with “An Evening With: Shiza Shahid!” Shiza Shahid is best known for her grassroots work with Malala Yousafzai -- the young Pakistani student who was shot for speaking out in favor of education for girls -- and the Yousafzai family in setting up the Malala Fund.
For Long Beach State members of the LGBTQIA community and allies, this month goes out to you. Throughout October, ASI Beach Pride Events (BPE), Multicultural Affairs and various other campus partners will be hosting an array of events in celebration of “coming out” and taking pride in one’s identity.
The Beach’s favorite carnival is back with an exciting twist – Smorgasport 2018! Ending summer festivities and kicking off the school year, this year’s sunset carnival will be taking place the Friday before school starts, August 24.
