Description

Outdoor Adventure Trips are designed to give Long Beach State students fun and unforgettable experiences at various must-see destinations in the greater Southern California area. Activities include, but are not limited to, hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, surfing and paddleboarding.

Food, equipment and transportation are provided for all trips at no additional cost. Mandatory pre-trip meetings are required for all overnight trips.

Hollywood Sign Day Hike

8 a.m. to evening

Register by March 15 to join us for a scenic hike to the iconic Hollywood Sign! We’ll trek roughly 4.5 miles round-trip to reach the top of the sign, so come prepared with comfortable shoes and a good camera. Food, gear, and transportation are all included.

Cost: Student $30 | Non-student $60
