Description

Join Sustain U and the Science Learning Center for a hands-on workshop exploring the science of composting. This interactive session will break down how food scraps and organic waste transform into nutrient-rich soil through the process of decomposition.

Participants will learn what can and cannot be composted, how composting supports environmental sustainability, and practical ways to get involved both on campus and at home. Whether you are new to composting or looking to deepen your knowledge, this workshop offers useful tools and real-world applications you can start using immediately.
