Get off campus, explore Southern California and try something new with SRWC Outdoor Adventure Trips!

Outdoor Adventure Trips give Long Beach State students the opportunity to experience must-see destinations throughout Southern California through hiking, camping, backpacking, surfing, paddleboarding, bouldering and more.

Whether you're an experienced adventurer or trying an activity for the first time, there’s a trip for you. Food, equipment and transportation are provided for all trips.

Registration is available at the SRWC Rock Wall or through the FusionGo app.

Please note: Mandatory pre-trip meetings are required for all overnight trips. Participants must be able to swim for paddleboarding and surfing trips.


Fall 2026 Trips

Naples Paddleboarding

Date: Sept. 19 | 7 a.m.–afternoon
Difficulty: Moderate
Cost: Students $30 | Non-students $60

Glide through the calm waters of the Naples Canals on a stand-up paddleboard. This beginner-friendly trip offers a relaxing way to enjoy the sun and Long Beach scenery from the water. Food, transportation and equipment are provided.

Participants must be able to swim.
