Join Sustain U for the fall 2026 Trash Talkers Mini Fair, a hands-on sustainability event focused on waste reduction, composting, food literacy and everyday eco-friendly habits.

Students can visit interactive educational stations throughout the Grow Beach Garden and participate in short activities exploring how waste affects the environment—and how small, everyday choices can make a difference.

During the fair, students will learn how to regrow food scraps, store food properly to prevent waste, understand how long different materials take to decompose and commit to sustainable habits by signing the Trash Talker Pledge.

Participants will receive a ticket at check-in. Visit each activity station, complete a short post-assessment and submit your ticket for a chance to win a giveaway prize. Winners will be selected after the event and contacted using the information provided on their tickets.
