12 to 1 p.m. Location: ASI Beach Kitchen

Join Cal Fresh Healthy Living at ASI's Beach Kitchen to learn how to transform those canned goods into a fantastic and healthy Thanksgiving meal! All materials will be provided, but space is extremely limited. To register and reserve your spot now, check out the eventbrite page and enter the password asibeachkitchen.


5 to 6 p.m. Location: ASI Beach Kitchen

Join Beach Balance at ASI's Beach Kitchen to learn how to make mini chicken pot pies just in time for the holiday season! All materials will be provided, but space is limited. Don't have time to get down to the Beach Pantry? No worries--this week we are coming to you! Check out the Mobile Pantry at the LA5 Statue Plaza starting at 11 a.m. until supplies last. Be sure to stock up on all your pantry and basic needs.

This luncheon will help faculty and staff learn about college students' basic needs. Attendees will hear from experts, Dr. Rashida Crutchfield, Associate Professor in the School of Social Work, and Danielle Muñoz, Director of the Basic Needs Program, about current resources offered at LBSU to help students. More than ever, students report food insecurity and homelessness or risk of homelessness to their trusted LBSU faculty and staff. This event hopes to help faculty and staff feel more prepared to support students experiencing these issues.

Join the Beach Pantry, Basic Needs and community partners for an Open House event on the USU Games Center. Learn about organizations, community and campus partners, and the resources and services that they provide.

ASI Beach Pantry Cultural Food Drive

Throughout the week, the ASI Beach Pantry will be accepting donations to support students experiencing housing and food insecurity. Donations may be dropped off at the Beach Pantry, located on the first floor of the University Student Union (USU) 116, in the donation bin.
