Help Us Fill the Shelves

Location

Laurén Chalmers '83 Beach Pantry

Time

Description

The Laurén Chalmers '83 Beach Pantry is hosting a Drive-Thru Donation Drive to help stock the shelves of our newly relocated pantry space in Student Health Services (SHS)! We are calling on our campus and local community to support students facing food insecurity by donating non-perishable food items, hygiene products and other essentials.

This convenient, contactless service allows donors to drive up and drop off their items without having to leave their vehicles. Pantry staff will be stationed curbside to collect donations and offer a warm thank you for your support.

Drive-Thru Drop-Off Hours:

12 – 6 p.m.

Location:

Student Health Services - Located on the corner of Beach Drive & Merriam Way; 1250 N. Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90815

Requested Items:

  • Canned protein (preferably tuna)
  • Canned goods (soups, fruits, vegetables, proteins)
  • Health bars
  • Pasta, rice, cereal, oatmeal
  • Shelf-stable snacks
  • Hygiene products (soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothpaste)

Your contributions directly support Long Beach State students and help us continue our mission of reducing food insecurity on campus. Let’s come together to make sure no student goes hungry!
