Long Beach, Calif. - February 26, 2014 - The Owen's Condition for Tuition scholarship program hit a new benchmark of 3,000 participants this semester.
Condition for Tuition, a 10 week points-based program, rewards students for utilizing the Student Recreation & Wellness Center's programs and services. This semester the SRWC set a benchmark of 3,000 participants in order to get more of the CSULB student community involved and grow excitement.
"This program helps cultivate and reinforce meaningful and lifelong healthy lifestyle habits for students at CSULB and now that we've reached our goal we plan on building upon this semesters success for future programs goals," said Graduate Assistant Paul Leaf of the SRWC.
Students who complete the program will be entered into an opportunity drawing to determine who wins the Fall 2014 tuition and other prizes such as 3G Beach Cruisers, surfboard and Beach Balance Massage Therapy gift certificates.
The Finale Ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 1 at 5-7 PM.
