Every day is a new opportunity to reach your full potential and start anew. And what better way to unlock your best self than with the You @ CSULB okta app! The program is catered specifically for you and your unique mental health and physical wellness needs.

“We as Long Beach State University (LBSU) want to make sure that we’re there for you, and this is a way for us to be there during this pandemic and beyond,” said Health and Wellness Director Candice Chick.

The online program gives personalized feedback on how to improve your quality of life and reduce stress. All you need to do is create a simple, 10-minute-profile and pick some development categories that suit your needs.

“All the resources from LBSU Health and Wellness are on the platform, as well as global resources like TED Talks and they work together as a united front,” said Chick.

On the website you can choose from the sections, “Succeed, Thrive or Matter” and pinpoint the areas of your personal or professional life you desire to work on. Succeed houses academics, Thrive houses personal wellness and Matter houses social resilience.

“You at College is about the unseen battle of taking care of yourself and figuring out how to do that effectively. And spending a little bit of time doing the quick assessments can help you locate the right resources to take care of yourself,” said Chick.
