You can grab some coffee and listen to your peers perform – or even get behind a mic yourself at this month’s Poet’s Lounge!
Beach Pride Events hosts Poet’s Lounge throughout the year as a free open mic for students to share their poetry and spoken word art. All students are welcome to share any of their work or simply sit back and enjoy the show.
“It’s always a great, safe space for anyone to express themselves through any form of poetry,” said fourth year international studies major and Beach Pride Events program assistant, Javier Gonzalez.
The free and last open mic of this semester will be taking place on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 8 to 10 p.m. in the USU Sunset Lounge. Light refreshments will be offered. For more information, visit www.beachpride.com.
