5 Ways to Enjoy Summer in Long Beach Banner
Campus Sustainability Month

Climate change is undeniably the issue of our generation, and it’s important that students are aware of the effects it will have on our future. That’s why ASI and Long Beach State University partners have come together to put on a month of events to educate students on how they can make a difference.

“We have a limited time frame with students who attend our events,” said ASI’s Recycling Coordinator Eric Bryan. “So we’re hoping that we can really help them grow. That way, those seeds are planted across the country and hopefully throughout the world.”

“There’s something for everybody during Sustainability Month,” said Holli Fajack, sustainability coordinator with LBSU facility services. “Whether you’re interested in learning about sustainable jobs for the future, sustainable transportation, growing your own edible plants or showcasing your eco-themed art.”
