Description

Grab a buddy and challenge each other's fitness levels in this Valentine's partner-themed event! Located at Main Court A, compete with other duos to claim your partnership victory. Winners of the entire competition will receive a trophy that is sure to strengthen their bond!

Duos will rotate through stations every five minutes.

Tempo Goblet Squat
Description: Perform controlled squats while holding a weight. Men use a 25-pound plate and women use a 10-pound plate. Focus on proper form and tempo.
Scoring: Based on the number of clean repetitions completed within the time limit.

Bench Press (YMCA Style)
Description: Perform as many bench presses as possible. Men use 135 pounds and women use 75 pounds. Proper spotting and technique are required.
Scoring: Points are awarded based on the total number of repetitions completed as a team.

Medicine Ball Throw
Description: Test your power by throwing a medicine ball—12 pounds for men and 8 pounds for women—for maximum distance.
Scoring: Points are based on the combined throw distances of both partners.

Relay Race: Kettlebell Carry
Description: Carry kettlebells—35 pounds for men and 25 pounds for women—across a designated course in a relay format. Speed and teamwork are key.
Scoring: Based on the total time taken to complete the course.

Partner Russian Twists
Description: Seated back-to-back, partners pass a 6-pound medicine ball to each other while twisting.
Scoring: Points are awarded for the number of successful passes completed within the time limit.

Partner Wall Sits With Weighted Walks
Description: One partner holds a wall sit while the other walks a designated distance carrying a plate—45 pounds for men and 25 pounds for women. Partners switch roles halfway through the station.
