Grow your skills at Planting 101, a hands-on gardening workshop in the Grow Beach Garden. Learn how to transplant seedlings, prepare soil and support the spring 2026 garden cycle alongside Sustain U.

This interactive workshop offers practical experience in sustainable gardening while helping maintain the long-term health of the Grow Beach Garden. Whether you’re new to planting or looking to deepen your green thumb, this is a great opportunity to learn, connect, and give back to your campus environment.

All participants will be entered into an opportunity drawing for sustainable swag.

This event is FREE and open to all Long Beach State students. RSVP through Events & Orgs to secure your spot.
