About "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"

High school and the teenage years are a time full of discovery, awkwardness, trials, successes, failures, and most of all, growing up. "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," written and directed by Stephen Chbosky, portrays these experiences in a relatable and moving way. Follow 15-year-old Charlie, played by Logan Lerman, who is an endearing and naïve outsider, coping with first love, heartaches and mental health all while finding a group of people with whom he belongs. Follow a trio of friends in navigating the hoops of high school and exploring the real world.
